1.) Mixed Metals

The trend of mixing metals is still going strong and continuing to gain popularity throughout the wedding and event industry. Keep an open mind and play around with a variety of place settings – utilizing charger plates, china, glassware and flatware – until you find the setup that feels right. From gold and silver to copper and pewter, the options are endless!

2.) Gold or Black Flatware

As mentioned above, a trend continuing to make an appearance this fall is mixed metals. An easy way to add texture and various metals into your design is through your flatware selection. From the sleek and modern Capri Black Matte Flatware to the regal and ornate King Arthur Gold Flatware, we have a variety of options for any style.

3.) Colored Glassware

Debutante and Jupiter and Contempo – oh my! Colored glassware is on trend and we’ve got you covered! If you’re designing a simple table scape but looking for that coveted pop of color, look no further than our vast assortment of colored glassware. Blue, pink, amber, grey, green, red – you name it, we have an option that your guests are sure to remember.

4.) Velvet Details

What’s a better backdrop for your lavish table scape than a plush velvet linen? Hint: There isn’t one. This trending luxurious fabric is going to be busy elevating tabletops everywhere this season. With multiple colors to choose from, you’re sure to find a way to incorporate this elegant detail into your design.

5.) Edgy + Moody Color Palettes

Whether you prefer a dramatic black and white table scape or a chic design using bold linen colors, you’ll fall right in line with this edgy and moody color palette trend. Noir Heirloom China paired with Marble Melamine Chargers helps create a mysterious ambiance, while a variety of rich Bengaline Linen colors – like Burgundy or Hunter – can be used to give your table design depth. Make sure to coordinate your table top rentals and florals for a cohesive look that will send all the right vibes.

6.) Swooping Tents

While the classic lines of frame tents will always have their place, sailcloth and pole tents are currently in demand! Their swooping lines provide a fun yet sophisticated tone to your event. Whether it’s day or night, these inviting tents will complement your décor and add their own special touch to your overall design.

7.) Multiple Chair Styles

Mix it up! If you’re looking for a way to spice up your seating arrangements or simply have a hard time deciding on one singular look, why not incorporate multiple chair styles? Maybe you want Square Back Louis Chairs at some tables and Round Back Louis Chairs at others. Or you’re looking for the head table to be defined with our new Willow Chairs for its own special seating. We offer a large inventory of chair styles that are comfortable, stylish and on trend.

Palm Beach Chic Bridal Shower

When we heard one of our very own account managers, Emily Maksimowicz, was going to throw a bridal shower for her sister, we knew her design would not disappoint! Boy, were we right! Below, she tells us all about her inspiration behind this chic beachy theme.

“Being a Maid of Honor can be a daunting task, so when my sister got engaged earlier this year, I went into full planning mode. For her bridal shower, I knew I wanted to incorporate tropical elements since her and her fiancé recently moved to Florida. I decided that the theme would be ‘Palm Beach Chic’ filled with gold flamingos, palm leaves, and lots of stripes.

I love mixing and matching patterns and textures and thought that Liberty Party Rental’s bamboo folding chairs paired perfectly with striped linens alongside palm leaves tucked inside a pink balloon garland. And what tropical party is complete without a monogrammed bar stocked with frozen strawberry margaritas and citrus infused water?

There was a lot of DIY-ing involved filled with gold spray paint and balloon tying, but seeing my vision come to life and my sister’s face when she walked through the door made it all worth it.”

Nashville Rehearsal Dinner With A Georgia Twist

When Madeline and Gardner Heaner were planning their rehearsal dinner and post-toast party to compliment their stunning wedding, they knew Acme Feed & Seed in downtown Nashville would be the perfect place. The Groom’s mother granted their wedding planner, Big Events Wedding, complete creative control to plan these events with only one stipulation: Give homage to their Georgia home and nearby hunting camp where the couple had shared so many wonderful memories.

The event got a taste of home with Georgia peaches in the salad and authentic southern brisket for an entrée. Deer antlers adorned the bar and gnarly wood tablescapes added a hunting-camp-chic flair. With beautiful Fruitwood Farm tables, Tuscan Bentwood chairs, and Silver Beaded Rim Glass chargers from Liberty Party Rental, linens by BBJ Linen, draping by Visual Elements and lighting by Bright Events, Acme Feed and Seed was transformed for the Heaner Rehearsal Dinner. Lastly, the elegant and understated floral arrangements were neutral with pops of peach–again, a nod to the couple’s Georgia roots.

The first night of their memorable wedding weekend was a perfect jumpstart to Madeline and Gardner’s life together. We are so thankful these two allowed us to help make their Georgia vision come true in the heart of downtown Nashville!

3 Tips For Planning a Rehearsal Dinner – from Molly Sohr of Big Events Wedding

  1. Try to choose a design and color scheme that doesn’t take away or clash with the BIG night the next day.
  1. Always keep the bride and groom’s personality in mind and create personal touches!
  1. Choose a menu that is not repetitive of – or too similar to – the wedding meal. Mix up your cuisine for your guests enjoying both evenings with you.

ISES Box Truck Competition

A few months ago, the International Special Events Society asked us to participate in a Box Truck Battle – designing an event-like space inside one of our company box trucks using 2016 wedding trends. We accepted the challenge and came up with a “Garden Glam” themed design!

Take a look at the gorgeous photos by Sebastian Smith:

Utilizing hints of greenery through the faux grass backdrop (yes, you can rent faux grass flooring from Liberty!), leafy centerpieces and topiary trees (courtesy of Teasley’s Interiors), the garden portion of our design was a hit!

IMG_6462small

IMG_6469

We mixed in more of the glam theme with our glimmer cake table linen and gold tableware elements and even added the elegant draping and chandelier by Southern Sky Event Lighting. And please notice the cake in the back (using a gold foil technique!) by Triple Crown Bakery!

And after all of the votes were counted, we won the grand prize! We are truly honored to win the title and we could not have done it without our incredible, hard-working team!

Happy National Pink Day!

Since today is National Pink Day, we’re celebrating by featuring some of our favorite pink table scapes!

Our first table scape is from the table scape contest at the Perfect Wedding Guide Show in 2014! With our coral and blush color scheme, we happily won the contest based on all of the bride votes! 🙂

We love how the couple chose our gold stripe linen to give their tables a bit more dimension. Plus the round tables mixed with rectangular tables is a great way to spice up the room layout! All in all, what a gorgeous city view wedding!

Liberty Party Rental’s Loft at Houston Station

Back in April, our friends at Houston Station hosted an Open House! It was here that we proudly debuted our new space The Loft at Houston Station! Take a look at our before & after pics!

Here’s what our space looked like before – a very blank canvas!

And here’s how we transformed it!

IMG_5716

We chose Ikea and West Elm shelving to display all of our china, chargers, glassware and flatware. Plus, notice the beautiful teacup & flatware chandelier from Hester & Cook!

IMG_5717

We were so inspired by a display at West Elm and whimsical design photos on Pinterest that we had to try the chair wall hangings ourselves!

IMG_5718

We went with a sage and coral themed farm table mixed with some of our vintage inspired china.

IMG_5720

Our miss-matched china display was the perfect backdrop for our 4′ white wooden bar!

IMG_5732

The rustic metal door serves as a great focal point for our Radius and Axis lounge furniture!

IMG_5734

Rustic wooden ladders were purchased from the Nashville Flea Market as a display for our wide variety of napkins and chair ties!

IMG_5735

Loving the chevron pattern shelving against the china display!

IMG_5736

You’ll see our initials LPR all over The Loft – including our gold DIY marquee letters!

IMG_5737

Barn wood frames with gold burlap and lace completed the look for our flatware display!

Our teamwork with the Houston Station staff  involved showcasing all of the great areas for a wedding while also giving it a romantic loungy industrial feel. We paired our new gunmetal chairs with farm tables and mixed in some highboy tables with the invitation colors – gray, khaki and red. While in the bridal suite, we brought out the romanticism with the vintage furniture by adding our new matte satin blush linen to the cocktail tables. Now here’s a little taste of our Loft at Houston Station…
