Nashville Rehearsal Dinner With A Georgia Twist

When Madeline and Gardner Heaner were planning their rehearsal dinner and post-toast party to compliment their stunning wedding, they knew Acme Feed & Seed in downtown Nashville would be the perfect place. The Groom’s mother granted their wedding planner, Big Events Wedding, complete creative control to plan these events with only one stipulation: Give homage to their Georgia home and nearby hunting camp where the couple had shared so many wonderful memories.

The event got a taste of home with Georgia peaches in the salad and authentic southern brisket for an entrée. Deer antlers adorned the bar and gnarly wood tablescapes added a hunting-camp-chic flair. With beautiful Fruitwood Farm tables, Tuscan Bentwood chairs, and Silver Beaded Rim Glass chargers from Liberty Party Rental, linens by BBJ Linen, draping by Visual Elements and lighting by Bright Events, Acme Feed and Seed was transformed for the Heaner Rehearsal Dinner. Lastly, the elegant and understated floral arrangements were neutral with pops of peach–again, a nod to the couple’s Georgia roots.

The first night of their memorable wedding weekend was a perfect jumpstart to Madeline and Gardner’s life together. We are so thankful these two allowed us to help make their Georgia vision come true in the heart of downtown Nashville!

3 Tips For Planning a Rehearsal Dinner – from Molly Sohr of Big Events Wedding

  1. Try to choose a design and color scheme that doesn’t take away or clash with the BIG night the next day.
  1. Always keep the bride and groom’s personality in mind and create personal touches!
  1. Choose a menu that is not repetitive of – or too similar to – the wedding meal. Mix up your cuisine for your guests enjoying both evenings with you.

A Rustic Industrial Fall Styled Shoot – Abigail Bobo Photography – Houston Station

Happy Fall, y’all! Each year we host a styled shoot to feature our new products. This year we styled so many fun table scapes at Houston Station and Abigail Bobo worked her photography magic!

Our rustic industrial table featured our new gunmetal chairs and tea towel napkins. As of late, we’ve been getting many requests for the rustic industrial look for corporate events. It’s a great way to introduce the Nashville culture to out of town guests. Instead of using a traditional table runner, we paired it with a 90″ square black and white check table linen draped diagonally over the table. The Coca-Cola theme for this table blended in seamlessly with the black, white and red decor. Take a look at our design!
